We are seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice as a core team member.

Full time and Part time positions available.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and be proficient in dental hygiene practices.

The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the Dentist to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow while maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient safety.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
  • Assist in the documentation review of patient records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with medical terminology standards.
  • Conduct medical imaging procedures as needed, utilizing appropriate systems for capturing diagnostic images.
  • Monitor vital signs as part of the initial assessment before treatment.
  • Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to provide exceptional patient care and support during procedures.
  • Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in ongoing professional development.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of general dentistry principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in infection control techniques to ensure patient safety.
  • Experience with dental assisting is a plus, enhancing collaboration within the team.
  • Familiarity with documentation review processes and terminology relevant to dental care.
  • Ability to perform dental imaging effectively, utilizing modern imaging systems.
  • Excellent communication skills to educate patients about their oral health needs.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
